- The Association is replicated in all states of the Federation and FCT and are officially registered with their state Government authorities for the purpose of operation within their jurisdictions.
- The U.N.D.P in collaboration with the federal Ministry of Environment has trained and retrained R&A practitioners all over the country on “God practices in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Service sector” in the implementation of the Montreal protocol in Nigeria on climate change/Ozone Depletion, which is affected by the Refrigerants (CFCs) used by our practitioners and already replaced with Ozone friendly Gases, by international consensus.
- Equipping, furnishing and maintaining the office in Lagos to a standard befitting National Secretariat for the Association.
- Enhancement of the Association’s vision and mission through Federal Government support.
- Establishment of an institute of Refrigeration and Air-conditioning in Nigeria (NIRA) for the development of our members and carrying out research for its development.
- Co-partnership in the production of Hydrocarbon Refrigerant as substitute of CFCS, HCFS AND HFC which are already phased out, since our members are the Market for it, ensuring the enlargement of the market to the African continent. More so that raw material for their production is available in Nigeria with its low cost.
- Also execute World Bank project through FADAMA development program in the country.
- Production of possible materials and components in Nigeria for the Refrigeration, Air-conditioning and related industries in Nigeria in particular and Africa Continent in general.
- Summit on the establishment of a virile R&A institute in Nigeria (NIRA).
- Launching of N500m appeal fund for Education for Education and Research foundation for NARAP
- The federal Government through the ministry of Environment and UNIDO, one of the UN Implementation Agencies, distributed and installed Ozone friendly low foam manufacturing equipment to seventy-five (75) beneficiaries most of whom are NARAP members for the production of hard foam capable of insulating, roofing, walling, ceiling etc. This reduces your electricity bills.
